Today, Tuesday, the Ministries of Defense and Interior announced a financial reward for those who have information about missing Iraqis and Kuwaitis inside Iraqi territory.
The ministry said in a statement received by the National News Center: “The Iraqi Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs call on honorable citizens who have information about supposed burial sites for missing Iraqis and Kuwaitis inside Iraqi or Kuwaiti territory as a result of the Second Gulf War in 1991, to report it, and a financial reward will be allocated.” For those who provide useful information, we have reached positive results on the ground, by communicating with Iraqi embassies and consulates abroad, or by calling the hotline number and e-mail of the Human Rights Directorate in the Ministry of Defense.
The ministry added: “As well as the numbers of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the phone number of the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation in Baghdad, and the phone numbers of the Kuwaiti embassy in Baghdad and the Kuwaiti consulate in the governorates of Basra and Erbil.”
