The economist, Muhammad al-Najjar, called for the necessity of having integrated visions that clarify the identity of the Iraqi economy, as it is the main determinant of the future of sustainable development.
Al-Najjar added, in an interview with "Al-Sabah", that "determining the identity of the Iraqi economy requires activating the concept of a free market economy and the role of the public and private sectors, and then determining the necessary measures to be taken."

He pointed to "the need for economic institutions and organizations to activate discussion on these concepts of free economy and ways to adopt them in order to contribute effectively to achieving the desired economic reform."
The economic expert, Jaafar Yassin, had pointed out that “the problems of the Iraqi economy are complex and must be dealt with carefully by the specialized committees, which include experts in various sectors,” pointing to “the importance of the agricultural issue, which is permanent oil, and this joint must be dealt with in a way that contributes to the development of Agricultural production and make it able to cover the real need of the country of agricultural crops ».
