    [size=45]Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani announced the opening of outlets for selling dollars in government banks in order to control the rise in exchange rates.
    Al-Sudani said, during the weekly press conference of the Council of Ministers, that “there is a clear increase in the exchange rate of the dollar due to the increase in customer requests for the Central Bank, and fake companies inflating prices in order to get the dollar out, in addition to that there are exaggerated prices for remittances.”[/size]
    [size=45]And he stressed, “There is strict control over the issue of dollar exchange,” noting that “the opening of outlets for selling dollars in government banks in order to control the rise in exchange, and the central bank’s reduction of the selling price of the dollar, as well as the diversification of credits and external transfers,” noting that “the financial situation Iraq is in its best condition, and that the reserves amounted to 96 billion dollars.[/size]

    The leader of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, called today, Friday, on the federal government to curb money smuggling, which led to a rise in the exchange rates of the US dollar against the dinar in Iraq . Al-Hakim said in a speech on the occasion of "Iraqi Martyr's Day" amid crowds of supporters of his movement in the capital, Baghdad, that there are a number of challenges facing the federal government, which is not underestimated and needs firm and bold measures to be addressed. [/rtl]
    [rtl]And he stressed that "legal and judicial efforts must be intensified in the field of combating corruption, limiting money smuggling and the consequent disturbance in the price of the US dollar, and revealing the parties supporting this," stressing that "this cannot be allowed at all costs."[/rtl]
