The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced today, Friday, the formation of special committees to implement the government program for mining, while confirming that the Sudanese Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a, is interested in advancing national industries and giving them priority in the government program.
The Director General of the General Company for Mining Industries in the Ministry, Rafid Abdul Jalil, said: "The recent visit by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Asloudani to the Ministry of Industry, especially since its timing was on the first day of the new year indicates that the current year is the year of Iraqi industry," pointing out And since the Prime Minister's visit, work has begun to form special committees to implement the government program.
He explained that "the company has advanced its work gradually and progressively, as it contributed last year by paying the salaries of 19% of the company's salaries from its total revenue," noting that "the total revenue rate is around five billion dinars, which is the company's net profits for the past year."
Al-Jalil continued, "The company has now drawn up plans in light of the new directives to strengthen the points that it can expand with and open new horizons for industries that are also included in the company's internal system," noting that "a timetable has been set to implement this expansion."
He pointed out that "the rate of production during the past year for all materials produced by the company exceeded 24 thousand tons of various asphalt derivatives," noting that "there was a reluctance in state departments at the previous time to buy these products."
He stressed that "this reluctance will end, and according to the government program, companies that produce products and use them in other ministries are prohibited and prohibited for ministries to import them, especially since these products have high and standard specifications."
