Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Prime Minister revealed, on Tuesday, the status of "judicial investigators" in satellite channels, as part of the anti-corruption measures he announced as part of his government programme.
Al-Sudani said, in a televised interview, followed by Shafaq News Agency, "The Integrity Commission and the Media and Communications Commission have installed a judicial investigator on every satellite channel."
And Al-Sudani stated, "The task of this investigator is to" take information from the guests who give information about corruption."
And in mid-November 2022, Al-Sudani directed the formation of the Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption, in accordance with the ministerial curriculum, entitled "The Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption", in order to speed up the confrontation of major corruption files and the recovery of those wanted in corruption cases and the abused public funds.
