    Shafaq News/ Iraqi car sales during 2022 amounted to about 107,990 cars, an increase of 26.7%, which is the highest in 8 years, according to data from international companies.



    Focus 2 Move, a company specialized in providing data on car markets, stated, in a report seen by Shafaq News agency, that "last December, 11,892 new cars were purchased, an increase of (72.7%) over the same period in 2021."
    The company added, “In terms of cumulative data for the year 2022 at the brand level, (Kia) cars are still in the lead, as 29,904 thousand cars were sold this year, a decrease of (5.2%) from 2021, followed by (Toyota) second, which Its total sales amounted to 26,505 thousand cars, an increase of (77.9%).
    She explained that “(Hyundai) ranked third with 10,917 thousand new registration cars, a decrease (2.0%) from 2021, and then (Chery) came in fourth place with 6,600 cars, an increase of (23.2%), and (Chinese MG) cars came at 5395 cars (+69.9%), and (Chevrolet) cars came sixth with 5128 cars, an increase of (53.6%), and (Suzuki cars -up 15) came in seventh place with 2830 cumulative sales, an increase of (1535.8%).
