{Politics: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed, on Saturday, to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken that Iraq would prioritize economic reforms, indicating that the government puts the goal of establishing balanced relations at the fore.
And his media office said in a statement, received by {Euphrates News}, that "the latter received at his residence in Germany, this morning, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in its 59th session."
He added, "The meeting witnessed discussions on the files of bilateral relations, and ways to strengthen and develop them at various levels and fields, in a way that enhances Iraq's ability to face economic challenges and development requirements."
Al-Sudani affirmed, according to the statement, "Iraq's giving special priority to economic reforms, the government's focus on developing the energy sector, and the establishment of development and investment partnerships in the gas sector."
