{Politics: Al Furat News} The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Wafaa Muhammad Karim, accused parties - he did not name them - of trying to "obstruct" negotiations between the Kurdistan region and the federal government.
Karim told {Euphrates News}: "There are obstacles to negotiations with Baghdad and the movement of parliamentarians {chessmen} to file lawsuits against the region and the movement of decisions of the Federal Court," as he described it.
Karim accused these parties of "planning hostile and malicious programs against the Kurdish component," as he put it.
A delegation from the Kurdistan government arrived in Baghdad the day before yesterday, Sunday, to hold several meetings with government agencies in Baghdad to discuss issues related to oil, the budget, disputed areas, and financial dues for the region.
And the regional government announced that its delegation "agreed with the Federal Ministry of Oil to form a joint committee to prepare and write the oil and gas law."
