The Ministry of Industry announced, on Sunday, that the sales of the General Company for the Manufacturing of Medicines and Medical Supplies in Samarra during February of this year increased by 51% compared to the same month of last year.
The ministry stated in a statement received by "Al-Iqtisad News" that "the General Company for the manufacture of medicines and medical supplies in Samarra, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, achieved a significant development in the value of its sales during the month of February of the current year 2023, by (51%), compared to the same month of the previous year 2022." .
The statement stated that "the achievement of this achievement came as a result of the concerted efforts of all cadres working in production and harnessing all the available capabilities and capabilities," noting that "the sales included supplying the Ministry of Health and the local market with types of pharmaceutical preparations that treat various diseases, in addition to the production of preparations that are used to treat diseases." The ministry affirmed that "the company is determined to increase its sales in the coming months after the increase in demand for its standard and modern pharmaceutical preparations that are subject to quality standards and analysis requirements with the latest laboratory techniques and using the latest international pharmacopoeia."
