    On Monday, the senior management of the General Company for the Manufacturing of Medicines and Medical Supplies in Samarra issued a clarification about the details of Administrative Order No. 9510 on 12/13, which was published on social media.
    The clarification came that “the loss mentioned under the order was calculated after excluding the salary grant account, which amounted to 11/30/2022 (32,663) thirty-two billion, six hundred and sixty-three million dinars, and when calculating it, the realized loss is (2,378) two billion, three hundred and eight seventy million dinars.”
    She added, "The reasons for the loss is that the company bears the salaries of its employees in all its departments and suspended factories (Nineveh Factory, Solutions Factory, Baghdad Factory; Babel Factory, Al-Amriya Marketing, Kirkuk Marketing). The value of the salaries paid as of November (43,057) amounted to forty-three One billion and fifty-seven million dinars, which represents more than 65% of the value of the company's total expenses.
    And she indicated that it "had borne the costs of contract salaries and wages until November, at an amount of (3,711) three billion, seven hundred and eleven million dinars. The company also bears monthly the amount of (330) three hundred and thirty million dinars, which is equal to (4) billion annually for the payment of retirement contributions. For all its affiliates, including the departments and factories that have been suspended, from their own resources.
    And she continued, "The company bears all its operating expenses (commodity and service expenses) from its own resources, which represent within the limits of (30-35%) of its total expenses," considering that "the decision of the Board and the order issued is a regulatory measure intended to allow the financial department to make settlements." The entry close to the end of the fiscal year.
