The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, confirmed, on Tuesday, that there is no law in parliament that addresses the issue of employee salary scales, indicating that the political forces are obligated to support the government's directions.

Suleiman said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, that "the law to amend the salary scale has not yet come to the House of Representatives," noting that the House of Representatives is waiting for the government to send a new salary scale.
He added that "Parliament will take into account the large differences in salaries and fairness to marginalized groups," noting that "the House of Representatives, during its current session, is serious about enacting and legalizing laws that affect the lives of the poor and citizens , especially those with low salaries.”
Representative Nayef Al-Shammari announced, on Monday, that the new salary scale project will be presented to the Council of Ministers.
Al-Shammari said, in a statement received by Al-Maaloumah, that "the committee in charge of preparing the salary scale for state employees completes all that is required of it and signs the minutes of the ladder." End / 25 hours
