Today, Monday, the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, directed a reduction in internet prices for government institutions.
A statement by the ministry, received by "Al-Iqtisad News", stated that "the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, issued an order to reduce the prices of services provided by the General Company for Communications and Informatics (Internet and Intranet) by a rate ranging between (25-30%) to all ministries and government departments, based on the directive of the President. The Council of Ministers, which includes supporting the Ministry of Communications in its measures to develop the quality of Internet service and reduce prices.
The statement added, "The ministry is making unremitting efforts to provide services and all their applications in a secured and highly stable manner to all state departments and other entities in various governorates," pointing to "the continuation of national projects to develop the communications and informatics sector."
