[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, affirmed the ministry's commitment to implementing the Social Security and Retirement Law for workers, immediately upon its ratification and publication in the Official Gazette.
Al-Asadi said, during the workshop on the application of the law, which began its work today, Saturday, in Baghdad, “We celebrate this day the launch of the retirement and social security bill for workers, whose legislation has passed for more than 50 years and has not been implemented until today.
He added, "The retirement law is one of the most important major laws and vital legislations, and it has features that make workers compete to be registered in this law."
He explained, "The broader segment of workers did not have a share of this law previously, but today they will have a retirement salary, and the government will pay retaliatory arrests at a rate of three times what the worker pays."
And he continued to say: "The salaries of retired workers will be increased by about 100,000 dinars, and thus the pension for the worker will be 500,000 dinars, as we have started, since we took over the ministry's tasks, to serve the poor segment." Through automation and increase the salaries of employees and social assistance.”/ End 5
