Today, Monday, the Minister of Transport and Chairman of the Special Committee for the Implementation of the Development Road Project, Razak Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, participated in the special meeting of the committee chaired by Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani.
A statement by the Ministry of Transport, received by (Baghdad Today), said, "Al-Sudani stressed during the meeting that the government is moving towards the completion of the development road project, as it includes large economic revenues for Iraq, and the creation of job opportunities and sustainable development, whose benefits extend throughout the region, in a way that enhances Facing regional and international economic challenges.
The statement added, "The meeting discussed ways to achieve the supreme interest of Iraq by implementing this important strategic project, involving countries wishing to join it, and discussing offers submitted by countries and major companies."
The meeting emphasized the use of the expertise of discreet international companies in aspects related to the smallest details of the project, in order to ensure its completion in accordance with the latest international plans, specifications and programs.
