Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary General of the Arab League, headed today, Tuesday, at the head of a high-ranking Arab League delegation to Washington, to launch a strategic dialogue with the United States.
An Arab newspaper reported that Aboul Gheit flew to Washington to launch a strategic dialogue with the US administration, where he is scheduled to hold a meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, dealing with various issues of common concern.
Jamal Rushdi, the official spokesman for the Secretary-General of the Arab League, stated that Ahmed Aboul Gheit is scheduled to meet with Blinken to discuss a number of important files and issues of concern to both sides, whether in the field of politics and security or the various economic and social fields.
