Shafaq News/ The Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Wednesday, that the Prime Minister of the region, Masrour, made a phone call with the Federal Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani.
The spokesman for the regional government, Peshwa Hauramani, said in a brief statement that, after Masrour Barzani's contact with Al-Sudani, a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government will visit Baghdad.

According to information received by Shafaq News Agency, a government delegation from Erbil will go to Baghdad later in the day to discuss the issue of salaries and Kurdistan's share of the financial budget.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Kurdistan Regional Government held the federal government responsible for providing monthly salaries for employees and workers in the public sector in the region.
The spokesman for the regional government, Peshwa Hauramani, said in a statement, "The oil revenues, in agreement with the Iraqi government, are no longer in the hands of the Kurdistan Regional Government, so the Iraqi government considers it responsible for providing salaries and financial dues to the citizens of the Kurdistan Region in accordance with the budget law."
He added, "In this regard, we have fulfilled all our duties and fulfilled a full legal obligation, and until today, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region has been in contact so that the Iraqi government sends salaries to those who receive them as soon as possible and does not delay this issue any further."
Hauramani continued by saying: Our message to some political parties and people who did not listen to the legal and constitutional position of the Kurdistan Region in any way during the past few years and did not deal and act as citizens interested in the people of Kurdistan is: Do not hit the status of the Kurdistan Region more, and for once they moved responsibly towards the people of Kurdistan and their constitutional rights.
The spokesman for the regional government stressed that the issue of salaries "is directly related to people's lives and livelihoods and is not a subject for bidding and electoral propaganda, and it should not be a tool to strike the legal and constitutional status of the Kurdistan Region."
And the Minister of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region, Awat Sheikh Janab, confirmed on Sunday, July 23, that the region has met all of Baghdad's demands, addressing public opinion in Kurdistan by saying: From now on, ask the Iraqi Ministry of Finance about the issue of monthly salaries.
