    [size=45]Activists on social media circulated what was stated in the final statement of the Ministerial Council meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on Iraq, and below we review for you the five points that singled out Iraq in the statement:[/size]
    [size=45]1- The Ministerial Council affirmed its firm positions and decisions towards brotherly Iraq, and supported existing efforts to combat terrorism and achieve security and stability in Iraq, stressing the importance of preserving the integrity and territorial integrity of Iraq, its full sovereignty, its Arab-Islamic identity, its social fabric, and its national unity, and its support to confront terrorist groups and armed militias in a dedicated manner. State sovereignty and law enforcement.[/size]
    [size=45]2- The Council stressed the speedy completion of the implementation of the electrical interconnection project to connect Iraq to the electricity network in the GCC countries, and achieving a greater degree of integration and interconnection between Iraq and the GCC countries, in a way that achieves their common interests and paves the way for more cooperation in the future, praising the positive and growing partnership between the Cooperation Council. And Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]3- The Council condemned all terrorist operations targeting the Republic of Iraq that target civilians and Iraqi security forces, stressing that the Cooperation Council stands with Iraq in combating terrorism and extremism.[/size]
    [size=45]4- The Council stressed the importance of Iraq’s commitment to the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and not violating international resolutions and agreements, especially Security Council Resolution No. 833, regarding the demarcation of the borders between the two countries and the agreement to regulate maritime navigation in Khor Abdullah, concluded between the two countries and deposited with the United Nations. The Council called on the Republic of Iraq to complete Demarcating the maritime borders with the State of Kuwait beyond Mark 162, expressing its categorical rejection of any violation that affects the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and its reserve of its right to respond according to legal channels.[/size]
    [size=45]5- The Council renewed its support for Security Council Resolution No. 2107 (2013), regarding referring the file of prisoners and missing persons, Kuwaiti property and the National Archives to the United Nations Mission (UNAMI), expressing its aspiration for Iraq’s continued cooperation to ensure progress in all files, and calling on Iraq and the United Nations to do the utmost Efforts to reach a solution to these files.[/size]
