    [size=45]Sabah Sobhi, a member of the Oil and Gas Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, said on Saturday: “A Turkish delegation is scheduled to visit Baghdad early next month to discuss the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region via the Turkish-Iraqi oil pipeline.”[/size]
    [size=45]Sobhi added, “Turkey has shown some flexibility and it is expected that obstacles to the process will be removed before Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives in Iraq. Turkish Energy Minister Alp Arslan Bayraktar said on Friday that the technical problems in the oil pipeline between Turkey and Iraq have been resolved and that exports Oil is ready to resume.[/size]
    [size=45]On August 22, Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani met with Turkish Energy Minister Alp Arslan Bayraktar in Ankara, and on August 24, Bayraktar visited Erbil, coinciding with the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
    [size=45]On Sunday, September 9, 2023, the spokesman for the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, Assem Jihad, told Kurdistan 24: The issue of Kurdistan’s oil exports is no longer linked to the governments of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and now the ball is in Turkey’s court. If this door is opened, all problems will be solved.[/size]
    [size=45]After the decision of the International Arbitration Court in Paris dated (March 25, 2023) regarding the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region, the export of oil to the port of Ceyhan was suspended.[/size]
    [size=45]The Iraqi Ministry of Oil sent a letter to Turkey to resume oil exports from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq after resolving the technical problems between the teams of the Ministry of Natural Resources and SOMO.[/size]
