The Prime Minister’s Advisor for Political Affairs, Sobhan Mulla Jiyad, described America’s trends towards the events in Palestine as dangerous and unjustified, stressing Iraq’s position in supporting the Palestinian cause.
Mulla Jiyad said in a televised interview followed by “Al-Maalouma” that, “The Zionist occupation forces are working to displace the people of Gaza from their homes out of revenge.”
He added, "Iraq will not deviate from its position towards Palestine and will be part of the confrontation with the Zionists."
He explained, "There must be a unified Arab position on Palestine, and we may find ourselves in a confrontation in the coming days."
Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani had called on the countries of the world and Russia to take urgent action with the permanent members of the Security Council to stop the ongoing attacks on the Palestinian territories. End 25
