Baghdad and Doha are discussing intensifying security cooperation

Yesterday, Tuesday, Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari discussed with the Qatari Ambassador to Iraq, Sultan Mubarak, intensifying security cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations and joint work.
A statement from the ministry stated, "The Minister of Interior met with the Qatari ambassador to Iraq, and during the meeting a number of topics of common interest were discussed, foremost of which is intensifying cooperation, especially in the security fields."
For his part, the Qatari ambassador to Iraq appreciated "the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to enhance security and stability in various regions of Iraq and harness the potential to develop relations to serve common interests."
