Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Federal Integrity Commission announced 11-20-2023 that an order was issued to recruit a former general director in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals; For intentionally committing something that violates his job duties.
The authority stated in a statement that the investigating court responsible for examining integrity cases in Anbar Governorate issued a summons order against the former general director of the glass and refractories company affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, in the matter of violations committed in an investment contract with foreign companies.
She added that the accused committed violations in referring the investment contract for glass and ceramic factories and its annex concluded with a consortium of Russian companies, indicating that the contract, which is worth $7,305,000 million, includes rehabilitation, operation, and participation in production.
She continued, “The judge of the investigative court specialized in examining integrity cases in Anbar issued the recruitment order. Based on the provisions of Article 331 of the Penal Code No. (111 of 1969, as amended).
