The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Al-Battal, announced 90 investment partnership opportunities between the public and private sectors.
Al-Battal said in his speech during the Industrial Partnerships Forum in Basra, that “there is fair competition between public, local and private sector companies,” indicating that “one of the Ministry’s priorities is to have Iraqi industries by entering into partnerships with private sector companies and for there to be fierce competition between the producers.” Local, imported, producer and consumer protection.
He continued: “We supported this partnership to be an incentive for more joint work,” calling on “current and future partners to provide ideas for the success of these companies while adhering to the government’s approach and unlimited support to the private sector.” Ended 29/H
