The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received today, Thursday, December 7, the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Paula Ganley, on the occasion of the end of her work duties.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his thanks to the Australian Ambassador for the efforts she made during her work in strengthening bilateral relations, wishing her success in her upcoming tasks. For her part, the Australian Ambassador expressed her country's readiness to consolidate and strengthen relations with the Kurdistan Region in the fields of investment and trade.
In another context of the meeting, the financial rights and entitlements of the Kurdistan Region were highlighted, and the need for the federal government to send the entitlements to salary recipients in the region was stressed, to end the injustice practiced against them and stop the violation of their rights.
