The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi, announced today, Thursday, the opening of three private transport projects and another for railways in Nineveh.
Al-Saadawi said in a press conference with Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil, followed by Al-Iqtisad News, that “our visit to Nineveh Governorate comes within the periodic field visits to the governorates, and it also came to evaluate the performance of transportation departments and formations in the governorate.”
Al-Saadawi added, "There are three projects that will be opened for private transportation and another project for railways in the governorate," noting that "several files were discussed to develop the transportation sector in Nineveh with its governor, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakheili."
He explained, "The file of the development road project and the issue of expropriations and conflicts were also discussed, as well as the file of public transport, railways, and the re-operation of passenger trains."
Al-Saadawi stressed that “our ministerial program pays great attention to Nineveh Governorate,” noting that “Nineveh Al-Hadbaa and its people deserve all our support and support to improve the level of services provided to citizens.”
It is noteworthy that “Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi arrived today in Nineveh Governorate to inaugurate a number of projects and inspect the work of the ministry’s departments in the governorate, while he visited the governorate office and met with its governor, Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil.”
