The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi made a phone call today with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Al Miqdad, in which he expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s solidarity with Syria, its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity, referring to the American attacks on sites in Syria.

The two ministers agreed on the importance of resorting to serious dialogue between all parties, containing escalation and conflicts, as well as the withdrawal of foreign forces from Syrian territory and giving priority to resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict and ending the Israeli occupation of all occupied Palestinian and Arab territories, in order to achieve a just, lasting and comprehensive peace in the region, according to what The Foreign Ministry statement stated.

The Omani Foreign Ministry said in another statement that Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a phone call today with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, in which he expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s solidarity with Iraq, its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, with reference to the American attacks on sites in Iraq.

The two ministers stressed the importance of preventing the expansion of the circle of conflict in the region, stressing the priority of stopping the ongoing Israeli war in the Gaza Strip and continuing international efforts to reach a complete and permanent ceasefire and pave the way for achieving a just and comprehensive peace with the participation of all parties, according to the statement.

It is noteworthy that, at dawn on Saturday, American air strikes targeted Iraq and Syria, resulting in civilian and military casualties and significant damage to public and private property.
