Today, Tuesday (February 6, 2024), legal expert Salem Hawass commented on the UN Security Council meeting to discuss the situation in Iraq, while demanding the United States for material and moral compensation as a result of the damage to its reputation and sovereignty that befell the country.
Hawass said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", "Despite the differing opinions of the three major countries in the UN Security Council, as Russia and China criticized the strikes, while the United States defended itself, despite the expectation that the veto would be used, this exposes and condemns the attack." Hawass called on the Iraqi government to sue the United States of America and demand material and moral compensation for the material and moral damage that befell Iraq, its reputation and sovereignty, and the victims, wounded and disabled suffered by its people as a result of the aggression.
