[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Today, Thursday, the Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee held a joint meeting with the Chairman of the Communications and Media Authority, the Board of Trustees, and the CEO of Korek Communications Company, to discuss the outstanding debts owed by the company in accordance with the Government Debt Collection Law.
The meeting reviewed the issue of settlement and scheduling in a way that does not affect the collection of amounts with the aim of maximizing state revenues in line with the budget law approved by the House of Representatives.
The committee stressed the necessity of resolving the issue in accordance with the law in order to preserve public money, and to restore continuity of work for Korek Company and the staff who work in it, in order to preserve their livelihoods and stimulate the work of the private sector, as well as the government’s direction to do so, and to return the service to the Iraqi citizen.
In turn, the director of Korek Company confirmed the company’s readiness to submit an official letter that includes scheduling the amounts due for payment and guarantees within the next ten days./End 5[/rtl]
