    Today, Sunday (February 25, 2024), a local source revealed the tour of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, which visited the city of Erbil yesterday, while indicating that the tour comes after the decision of the Federal Supreme Court.
    The source said in an interview with "Baghdad Today" that "the first step in the Federal Court's decisions was the Iraqi Ministry of Finance sending a delegation from the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau to Erbil."
    He added, "The delegation arrived in Erbil yesterday and will begin a tour by visiting the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Finance, and the Customs Authority in the region."
    He pointed out that "this visit comes to reveal the region's revenues and verify employee numbers and data in preparation for sending the salaries of employees in Kurdistan for the current month."
    Yesterday, Saturday (February 24, 2024), a delegation from the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau arrived in the Kurdistan region to audit the revenues and expenditures of the second half of last year.
    Today, Sunday, the delegation will discuss revenues and expenditures for the six months of 2023, according to Kurdistan Regional Government spokesman Honor Jamal.
    The delegation, which will discuss revenues and expenditures for the second half of 2024, is scheduled to visit, with the Kurdistan Regional Financial Supervision Bureau, the ministries of finance, economy, and natural resources in the Kurdistan region, according to Jamal.
    These measures come within the implementation of the general budget law, which must be audited every three months jointly by the financial oversight offices in the Kurdistan region and Iraq.
    In the middle of last year, the Kurdistan Regional Government directed all ministries, in cooperation with the financial oversight offices in the region and Iraq, to ​​quickly complete audits of the Kurdistan Region’s revenues and expenditures.
