Today, Sunday, the National Retirement Authority explained the reason for the delay in pensioners’ salaries for the month of March, stressing that it is committed to paying retirees’ salaries on the first of every month.
Deputy Chairman of the Authority, Hossam Abdel Sattar, told the official agency, followed by “Al-Eqtisad News,” that “some social networking sites asked about the reasons for the delay in the salaries of retirees for the month of March 2024, and regarding this issue, we would like to clarify that the reasons for the delay were a coincidence on the 1st and 2nd of the month.” March weekend.
He added, "The National Retirement Authority is committed to disbursing the salaries of retirees from the first of every month in coordination with the Accounting Department in the Ministry of Finance and with the direct support of the Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, and the follow-up of the Chairman of the National Retirement Authority, Maher Hussein Rashid."
He stressed, "The Authority has completed all procedures for disbursing retirees' salaries, and they will be raised this evening, corresponding to 3/3/2024, as disbursement will take place gradually."
He called on retirees who did not receive text messages to “go to the payment and expenses outlets to receive their salaries for the month of March 2024,” stressing that “the Authority is committed to disbursing the end-of-service gratuity 48 hours after receiving the first retirement salary.”
