    The Prime Minister's media office reported to Al-Sumaria News that he received the Governor of Baghdad, Abdul Muttalib Ali Al-Alawi, the Chairman of the Provincial Council, Ammar Hussein Al-Qaisi, and members of its council, while Al-Sudani congratulated the attendees for gaining the trust of the people of the province.



    According to the statement, Al-Sudani stressed that the completion of the legislative, supervisory and executive authority of the local government is one of the most important features of the political system after 2003, as it represents a positive space for work, reinforced by the powers and the allocated budget, which must be supported with perseverance and sincerity.

    He pointed out the necessity of working in a team spirit, and mobilizing efforts and time to create a success story that the public will feel, noting that the achievement will enhance confidence in the work of the councils, within the vision and program of the local government with the efforts of the executive authority.

    He stressed the need to send positive messages, and for the work program of local councils to be in harmony with the work of the federal government, stressing the importance of paying attention to the outskirts of the capital, and taking into account the aspects of rationalizing drainage, its destinations, the process of selecting projects, and resorting to professional and scientific opinions, away from any trends.
