    The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, confirmed this evening, Sunday (March 31, 2024), that the wheel of the economy has begun to turn, and the project of building a just and rational state is proceeding.
    Al-Sudani said in the most prominent part of his televised speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him): “We condole ourselves, the sons of our honorable people, and all Muslims, from the east and west of the earth, on this painful anniversary, and Imam Ali bin Abi Talib represented in our history and awareness, a companion to the truth, and a guide to the path.” This is correct, especially when the situation becomes turbulent and the forces of evil and corruption expand and are able to achieve their gains.”
    He added, “When we restore the fragrant biography of the Imam, we commit ourselves to an example that we seek, in managing the state and taking into consideration the affairs of the people,” noting that “the principles of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, and the values ​​for which he spent his life, are the same ones that guide countries in every time and place.” It charts the closest path to good governance.”
    Al-Sudani continued, "We started from these principles in our government program, and its main goals are fighting corruption, eliminating poverty and unemployment, providing services, reforming the economy, and optimal investment of public money. The signs of the fruits of this program have become clear, and we have already begun to overcome the biggest obstacles and barriers."
    He stressed, "The wheel of the economy has begun to turn, and the efforts of workers to build infrastructure have not stopped. Agricultural output rates have increased, and stalled factories, refineries, and power stations have returned to full of work."
    He explained, "These steps would not have taken place had it not been for the fact that our people and our legislative, executive, and judicial authorities had put in mind the interest of Iraq first, and we remember the exploits of the Commander of the Faithful, the guidance of his rule, and the extension of his justice even to his opponents."
    Al-Sudani stressed, "Continuing with the project of building a just and rational state, in which everyone enjoys attention and prosperity, and we seek for everyone to be up to the responsibility of taking care of people's interests and taking care of their affairs, away from partisan or sectarian interests."
