Hebrew newspaper: Biden prevented Israeli planes that were on their way to attack Iran

The Israeli newspaper "Maariv" reported on Sunday that US President Joe Biden prevented Benjamin Netanyahu from carrying out an imminent air attack on Iran.
The newspaper reported that Biden succeeded in dissuading Netanyahu from attacking Iran, as he ordered the return of planes that were on their way to carry out operations in Iranian territory.
In addition, John Kirby, communications coordinator at the US National Security Council, said, “Biden does not believe that the Iranian attack calls for expanding the scope of the war.”
Yesterday evening, Saturday, Iran launched an attack with drones and missiles, starting from its territory towards Israel, after the killing of a senior commander in the Revolutionary Guards in an Israeli attack targeting the Iranian consulate in Damascus last week.
