BAGHDAD / NINA / The secretary-general of the correct movement,
affiliated with the Iraqiya List, Kamel al-Dulaimi said some ministers
of / Iraqiya / joint their resignation with the House Speaker Osama
al-Nujaifi's resignation.
He said in a statement to the National
Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: The ball is now in Nujaifi's, if he resigned
from the House of Representatives, the Iraqiya's ministers all would
resign because there is a general tendency to withdraw the ministers
from the government. "
Dulaimi said: "Some of the leaders and members of the Iraqiya List oppose the withdrawal from the government."
The
MP, of the Iraqiya coalition, Haider Mulla described invitation of the
President of the House of Representatives Osama Nujaifi for the Iraqiya
ministers to withdraw from the government with his commitment to his
location, as the chairmanship of the House of Representatives, as
election propaganda does not carry any real project to address the
current political crisis.
He added in a press statement:
"Nujaifi, if he is serious to address crisis, we will call him and Saleh
al-Mutlaq, Deputy Prime Minister to resign as they are forming the
first line in Iraqiya, where Mutlaq had previously put that in the last
meeting of the Iraqiya."
Nujaifi had called in a press
conference, held yesterday in the Nineveh governorate building, the
Iraqiya List's ministers to submit their resignations from the
government, which practiced injustice and oppression on the people of
the province as they entered their fourth month in demonstrations
without implementing any of their demands.
The Ministers of
Finance and Agriculture, Rafie al-Issawi and Izzaldin al-Dawla resigned
in protest against the government's failure to meet the demands of the
