    Baghdad-Iraq-Presse -17 in January announced the decision the House of Representatives, MP Imad Youkhana, Saturday, that the Presidency has decided to convene a special session to discuss the 2015 budget on Wednesday instead of next Tuesday. "
      
    Youkhana said in a press statement "reached from the Presidency of the Council of Representatives today to take a decision to extend the session next Tuesday to one day to give the parliamentary finance committee further discussions on the budget that the meeting be held next Wednesday."
      
    He said the "extension is to give the Finance Committee more time to complete the discussion of the budget in order to be ready to agree to put on the agenda of the vote."
      
    He said he "was not sure after the budget inclusion of the vote but the Presidency of the Council of Representatives has indicated from the Finance Committee of the need for more time and thus extended the date for the hearing, and this is no harm in it as much importance in reaching a comprehensive agreement in which the budget Integrated be in spite of the challenges that faced. "
      
    The House of Representatives has ended in its meeting on 12 January of this, the second reading of the budget in 2015 after completion of the discussion by the political blocs in several previous sessions while granting Speaker Salim al-Jubouri of the Finance Committee of time an opportunity to submit its final report on the budget and taking into consideration the observations House of Representatives. Ended (1)

    I don't think so but at least they have a good excuse with oil prices, etc. isn't the deadline the 25th?
