    Parliamentary Finance: Print new monetary categories in preparation for the deletion of zeros from currency

    good thread guys!!!  So lets expand a little on opinions.  They are going to print new notes, a 50 and a 100 dinar with values of 50,000 and 100,000 to limit the supply of cash but not value of cash in circulation. If that is the case, what is the 25,000 dinar worth in Iraq?  Is two 25,000 dinar worth a new 50 dinar note?  What will become of our larger notes?  Will we exchange them for new 50's? 

    There are no wrong opinions here, just looking for some input.  thanks guys...and girls...and dinar gals

    Leading ZEROS lol, another twist on the wording about zeros. Heck, it could mean the front of this as leading zeros --> 0.0085532 That would be cool.... ;)

    There seem to be some concern about issuing new notes.  To me this discussion is only important in relation to raising the value of the currency.  Raising the value been described as the "restructuring" of the currency.  This "restructuring" is part of the delete the zeros project.  The importance of these new notes is in relation to when they will move forward with the delete the zeros project.  I think the following quotes are clues:

    Haider said, that "the central bank decided to print large cash classes in preparation for the application of the decision to delete the zeros of the currency in the coming period."

    I could bring out more examples, but the point is when investors come, Iraq will boom.  

    The investors will come when the amendments to the investment law of 2006 are implemented.  This is the plan.
