    10:15:17 2.10.2016 |(Voice of Iraq) - Iraqi technical delegation in Brussels, students and under the guidance of the Minister of Health and Environment D.adelh Hammoud EU support in the areas of protecting and improving the environment and work to get rid of the mines and projectiles war unexploded The general director of Outreach and Information Department Amir Ali Hassoun said the Ministry of Health and the Environment represented by art dealer D.jasm peasant and his accompanying delegation discussed with officials at EU headquarters in Brussels ways to support Iraq in the area of improving the environmental situation and file mines through surveys is technical projectiles unexploded as well as get European support for Iraq to implement the Paris agreement on climate change. He said Hassoun said the delegation presented during the talks fully on Iraq big efforts in the field of counter-terrorism and counter Daash criminal gangs and edit large areas and restore stability to them and the need for international support to be cleared of mines and remnants of war and unexploded ordnance and support the ministry's programs to get rid of these projectiles and accelerate the return of residents to offer their areas. The general manager of the Department of education and the media that the talks were positive and expressed his officials in the EU's readiness to support Iraq's efforts and his government in all fields and help to set up projects that will improve the environmental situation and reduce the pollution rates through the establishment of projects which minimize the effects of greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to the increase of greenhouse rates warming. Iraq has joined many international conventions aimed at protecting and improving the environment in addition to the Oslo agreement for the disposal of mines and unexploded ordnance.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
