The second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Bashir Haddad, on Monday, hosted the Minister of Labor, Bassem Abdul-Zaman, on the incident of the homeless women's home in the city of Adhamiya.
"The House of Representatives completed the report of the investigative committee on the incident of the homeless women's home in Adhamiya, central Baghdad, which took place earlier this year.
He added that Haddad called for a joint meeting between the committees of women, family, children and human rights to discuss the matter and hosting the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Basem Abdel Zaman regarding the incident.
The House of Representatives held its 19th session of the fourth legislative session for the first legislative year in the second legislative term under the chairmanship of its chairman, Mohamed Halboussi, and while he voted on the fines law contained in the amended penal law, he ended discussion of the proposed law to restore the employees of the ministries of interior and defense to service.
