    [size=18]The Transport Ministry announced Monday that its minister, Abdullah Laibi, held talks in Britain with the aircraft engine giant.


    "Transport Minister Abdullah Laibi and his accompanying delegation visited the Rolls-Royce Group in Derby, north London, with the aim of reviewing the latest state-of-the-art aircraft engines," the ministry said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.






     
    She added that "Mr. Piers keywood and senior specialists in the company reviewed during the tour, which included the factory of engine industries and customer training center, the history of the work of this company and explain the modern specifications of the engines produced by the company with their desire to contract with Iraqi Airways and provide them with the engines needed with the training of technical personnel Iraqi maintenance of those engines for the perpetuation of flying green bird and the continuity of its services to travelers.

    The transport minister is still in the UK and is expected to visit London on Tuesday.
