Finance Committee: tariffs will not include goods that are not available in Iraq

The parliamentary Finance Committee approved the inclusion of the bill the second amendment to the Customs Tariff Act on the agenda of meetings of the Parliament for a vote, also agreed to apply paragraphs gradually over three years.
Committee member Rep. Magda al-Tamimi said in a statement to the Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network Anttbaiq this law will be limited on luxury items or products that similar thereto of the domestic industry, stressing that the tariff will be imposed on goods not produced or available in the Iraqi market.
