    [rtl]World Food Program of the United Nations welcomed the contribution provided by the Japanese government amounted to $ 7 million, to provide vital food assistance to thousands of Iraqi families affected by the ongoing crisis in Mosul, as well as some Syrian refugees living in camps in Iraq.[/rtl]
    [rtl]A statement of the program for the WFP representative in Iraq Sally Hejduk got "direction Press" a copy of it saying, "This generous donation from Japan will help to provide food for thousands of Iraqi and Syrian families that have suffered from a lack of stability and exposed her spirits at risk because of violent conflict.".[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added that "this contribution, which came at the right time confirms the commitment of the Government of Japan continued towards alleviating the suffering of the families in Iraq and in the region."[/rtl]
    [rtl]For his part, the Japanese ambassador to Iraq, Fumio Iwai "Japan is keen to reach the needy people, especially displaced persons and refugees Syrians, Iraqis living under harsh conditions due to the ongoing conflict in Mosul, and will be done through the program to meet the immediate food needs."[/rtl]
    [rtl]"The program will use this contribution to help the nearly 400,000 displaced Iraqis, including thousands affected by the ongoing conflict in Mosul monthly family rations containing basic food items such as flour, chickpeas and salt, oil and sugar."[/rtl]
    [rtl]He explained, "that he will use this donation to help the 65,000 Syrian refugees for more than a month through electronic vouchers provided by the program, which provides refugee US $ 19 per capita to enable them to buy food of their choice from local stores.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The contribution from Japan to Iraq is part of the total contributions granted by Japan to the World Food Programme, which amounted to 85.2 million US dollars to enable WFP to provide food assistance is necessary in 33 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.[/rtl]
