America: Iran supplied the Houthis with sophisticated weapons, threatening the movement in the Bab al-Mandeb

The head of the US Central Command Joseph Votal, that Iran supplied the Houthis in Yemen with sophisticated weapons threatening shipping traffic in the Strait of Bab el Mandeb.
The news agency "Anatolia" for Votal as saying in testimony before the Senate in the US Congress yesterday evening, the Houthis deployed, with the support of Iran, on the western coast of Yemen, missiles and radar system and mines and booby - trapped boats.
The US leader stressed that these weapons threaten trade, ships and US military operations in the region.
It is noteworthy that a report prepared by the Washington Institute , a specialist in Middle East affairs had talked about the existence of an imminent threat of the Strait of Bab el Mandeb busy ships, pointing to warnings Washington mines Houthis.
The report said that " the US Office of Naval Intelligence" sent letters to the merchant ships on 9 February , which warned of the dangers of mines in the Strait of Bab el Mandeb
