Russia: US strikes on Syria to try to divert attention from the casualties in Iraq

Said the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, the US attack on targets in Syria is "harmful to the aggression of Russian-US relations, and the joint fight against terrorism".
Announced Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman for the press spokesman, said: "President Putin is the US attacks on Syria aggression against a sovereign state, and represents a violation of international law, and under false pretenses,".
Peskov said the Russian president is US strikes on Syria, an attempt to divert attention from the casualties in Iraq, which would harm relations with Russia, and greatly hinder the establishment of a coalition to fight terrorism.
Kremlin spokesman announced that "the Syrian army does not have any stockpiles of chemical weapons".
He added: "Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and the specialized agencies of the United Nations have emphasized the fact that the destruction of the Syrian armed forces of all chemical weapons stockpiles".
Peskov said: "The Putin is, at the same time, total disregard of the realities of the use of chemical weapons by terrorists can not increase it only worsened considerably on the already tense situation".
