Baghdad Investment Commission will open mid-year, three new malls on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa within the investment plans in the capital.
The Chairman of the Authority, Eng. Shaker Zamili, said in a special statement to the morning that the continuous support and follow-up of the technical projects implemented in the capital, resulted in positive results for projects, especially entertainment and tourism, in order to achieve them as soon as possible due to the significant decline in the sector recently. He added that Baghdad will witness during the next few months the opening of several commercial malls, which gave the Authority investment licenses to specialized companies, to be a new supporter of economic development in the capital, revealing that the middle of this year will see the opening of three malls commercial investment.
Zamili said that the first mall is located on the side of Rusafa, the project of "Mall Zayouna" consisting of four layers and the area of ​​seven thousand and 685 square meters and completion rates exceeded 90%, stressing that the work is very high and will be opened mid-year to be an entertainment achievement No matter what the capital.
He added that all construction work has been completed on the last floor of restaurants, children's playgrounds and five cinemas, as well as electrical installations and liquid gas system, revealing that the project provides jobs for 130 workers in all specialties.
And on the second mall, the director of the investment Baghdad, he said (a toothpick mall) in Zayouna area opposite the International Stadium of the people, which consists of five floors and the area of ​​three acres, confirming the arrival of its work to the advanced stages of completion, as completed building the structure of the project and the opening of a marketing center to sell shops Commercial for local and international brands which will be announced soon.
In the same context, said that the middle of this year will also see the opening of the project (Babylon Mall) in the area of ​​Mansur beside Karkh area of ​​Donmin, pointing out that the mall consists of seven floors, including recreational facilities in addition to restaurants and cafeterias, For the opening of offices and shops in the mall, pointing out that what distinguishes the project is that harmony between modernity and civilization and the presence of sculptures in the façade as the lion of Babylon and the Hamorabi series and waterfalls designed art inspired by the outstanding gardens to add aesthetics of the place,
