Oil prices fell more than two percent registered the biggest weekly loss in more than a month due to renewed suspicions that lead to increase US production and rising inventories to undermine OPEC's attempts to reduce the supply glut of crude in world markets.
The settlement took place International benchmark Brent crude down 1.03 dollars or the equivalent of two percent in the settlement to $ 51.96 a barrel, while US crude prices fell in futures contracts 2.2 percent or $ 1.09 to $ 49.62 a barrel.
The session was characterized by the activity where it was trading more than 665 thousand contract for West Texas Intermediate crude.
On a weekly basis, Brent fell seven percent, while US crude Hui 6.7 percent.
