Criticized the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Sunday, President Hassan Rowhani, the government because of its support for the education of the plan put forward by the United Nations as "influenced by the West," said her allies conservatives that it contradicted Islamic principles.
Khamenei's remarks came before presidential elections on May 19, where the president is seeking re-election.
According to Khamenei, on the Internet site that he told a crowd of teachers: "Iran is not a place to allow the Western style of life wrong and corrupt, and the devastating impact of the deployment."
Khamenei said: "It is not logical at all to accept such a document in the Islamic Republic", in reference to the 2030 education plan, put forward by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Khamenei did not mention in detail the reasons for his objection to the UNESCO plan, but conservative commentators in Iran said it promotes gender equality in education.
Khamenei said: "How can a destination called international under the influence of major powers that allow itself to cost nations tasks which states have a history of different cultures and civilizations?".
Usually Khamenei warns of a "soft war" waged by the West to overthrow the regime in Iran, Khamenei as saying in politics in the country, while repeatedly distanced himself from the spiritual in the past few weeks.
But he did not arrive to support any of the rivals spiritual conservatives, including influential cleric Ibrahim and a main Tehran mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf limit.
A human rights report issued by the United Nations in August 2015 that the rate of policies related to the enjoyment of each sex education adopted by the state in 2012 led to a decline in the enrollment of girls in the proportion of universities.
