Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Emigration Committee criticized the actions of the government over the emigrants’ file, describing them as “Fruitless, contradicted.”
The head of the Committee, Liqaa Wardi, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The government did not support the emigrants by providing the residence and security that they lost where it was supposed to provide these two thing before any other things,” noting that “The emigrants’ file is related to the displaced citizens and we stress the necessity of providing the security to avoid having more displaced citizens.”
“The government canceled this file and spent billions to close it where it re-registered the emigrants once again which contradicts its policy,” she concluded.
