    Amman - AP

Jordanian army commander confirmed that the Jordanian armed forces will not have any presence in Syria and "will not enter," according to the website of the armed forces.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. General Mahmoud Fraihat while attending a banquet breakfast with retired military Wednesday evening, said that "the armed forces will not have any presence or enter Syrian territory as rumored and said through various media."

The Web site said that the director of military intelligence provided "concise Arab and regional events in the region and the latest developments on the border areas of northern and eastern ones" with Syria and Iraq in particular.

Damascus was accused Amman of involvement in the plan for military action in southern Syria, and warned that it will deal with any Jordanian intervention force Syria without coordination with it, as a hostile.

But Jordan's King Abdullah II announced on April 26 last that his country continues its defense policy in the Syrian depth "without the need for the role of the Jordanian Army inside Syria."

And the king said, "We will not allow developments on the Syrian arena and southern Syria to threaten Jordan."

The control of jihadist groups loyal to the organization of the Islamic state close to the Jordanian border positions in southern Syria, a source of concern to Oman, which supports some of the families of the Syrian south facing the organization.

Oman is confirmed once it does not want to "terrorist organizations and sectarian militias" on its border with Syria, referring to the jihadists and the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah, which is fighting alongside the Syrian regime.

Jordan warned of the consequences of the existence of Hezbollah or the Iranian Revolutionary Guards near its borders, highlighting fears of an attempt to create territorial contiguity between Iran, Iraq, Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Russia signed and Iran Aldaamtan to the Syrian regime and Turkey's pro-opposition earlier this month in Astana, the memorandum provides for the establishment of "de-escalation areas" safe zones in Syria.

It is assumed under the Astana that the memorandum of the guarantor States determine the June 4 safe areas that apply for six months, renewable before.

The agreement provides for the establishment of these safe areas in the province of Idlib in northwest Syria, which is controlled by the alliance of Islamist and jihadist factions, including the front Fatah al-Sham (formerly the victory), and in parts of the province of Latakia in western Syria, in Aleppo in the north, and Hama and Homs in the center, and in Damascus Eastern Ghouta, and in the south in the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra.

The share Jordan with Syria, a land boundary of more than 370 kilometers.
