    Economist criticizes the privatization of the services sector after spending billions of dollars on it



    He criticized the economic expert Durgham Mohamed Ali, on Thursday, the government had resorted to privatization of the services sector after spending billions of dollars in the past years.

    Ali said in an interview for "Economy News", "privatization of the services sector is very wrong because he has the infrastructure cost the government billions of dollars in the past few years," noting that "the pretext that the maintenance and operating costs are not present proves the government's failure."

    The Parliamentary Services Committee, announced that the privatization of the sectors of water and sewage project has not reached yet to the House of Representatives for discussion and approval.

    While the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public municipalities, announced last Saturday 29 April, it is heading to the privatization of the sectors of water and sewage systems to facilitate the provision of services to citizens and to obtain financial support budget revenues.
