    An agricultural expert expected to achieve good growth in the domestic dairy industry during the coming period after the introduction of new production lines in the public and private sectors.
    The expert's expectations coincided with the announcement of the General Company for Food Products, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, on the achievement of the factories of Abi Ghraib and its subsidiary Rafidain, a remarkable increase in production in quantity and quality.
    "Iraqi dairy products are gradually returning to take a good place in the local market thanks to the plans prepared by the ministries of industry, agriculture and planning," Raed al-Ameri told Sabah.
    He added that "thanks also to the efforts of those involved in this sector and the introduction of new production lines in governmental and private laboratories, especially as the private sector has contributed actively to this development."
    However, he called on the competent authorities (public and private) to pay more attention to form and marketing, which are important factors to achieve a qualitative leap, especially that the dairy sector is estimated to sell annually more than one billion dollars.
    An official source in the General Company for Food Products said in a statement that "the increase in production was achieved as a result of the implementation of various rehabilitation work and the addition of mechanisms and machines for the manufacture and production of dairy in various forms, where the installation and operation of air compressor plant Abu Ghraib, Milk as part of the technical achievements of the factory, while the Commercial Division has achieved an increase in the number of suppliers of packaging materials by 25% over the current number in order to reduce the cost and prices of the purchase quality and specifications required.
    He pointed out that "the center of the collection of milk in the district of Fallujah and the implementation of the detection of the site to know the volume of damage and missing and inventory of assets was initiated as a procedure to rent the central Samarra and Taji through public auction, which will achieve a financial return for the
    company."
    The Ministry of Industry has developed plans for the development of government laboratories for milk, and is working to activate a mechanism to invest in this area and provide full support to the private sector, indicating that the recent period saw a gradual return of the domestic dairy industry to the local markets, after it was completely empty.
