Maliki: Iraq is on the verge of a real battle and this title
Iraqi Vice President Nuri al-Maliki said the upcoming elections will be the segregation in the future of Iraq, pointing out that Iraq is on the verge of a real battle.
"The formation of a majority government based on clear and fundamental principles and principles is the best solution to solve Iraq's current problems and bring it back to the path of its international and Arab status," Maliki said during a gathering in the town of Hilla on Monday.
He added that "political disputes and rivalries between the blocs formed the parliament and the current Iraqi government is what constitutes the weak point in the implementation of any resolution, especially if it has a political, national and regional dimensions."
"There are those who try to underestimate the importance and magnitude of the victories offered by the security forces and the popular crowd, and that there are those who are trying to question these victories for certain purposes," adding that "the real battle ahead of Iraq is the battle to build Iraqi society and restore the cohesion among its people, Especially those displaced who have returned to their areas are suffering from a difficult economic and social situation that needs to be stopped by everyone. "
He stressed that "the upcoming elections will be a break in the future of Iraq, calling on citizens to participate in the upcoming elections."
